Weather in Finland

I live in Finland. It is rather cool here. We usually have a lot of snow during winter. Summers are full of light and rather warm, not so hot. Only some days or a week or two the temperature is above 25 Celsius or 77 Fahrenheit. This climate is ideal for me. I do not like hot weather. You can see and feel every season here and I love it. I also love the cold and darkness in the late autumn. And after the winter, it is so nice to see the fullness of the springtime, light and warm again.

Hello Eija, Tuesday, August 18, 2020
By way of introduction, my name is Patricia Waggoner from Prescott Valley, Arizona, USA. We are in an extreme heat wave in the South Western states. Normally we would have a period of monsoon which cools the temperature. Prescott Valley is a mountainous area in the North of the state with an altitude of approx 6,000 ft. We have 4 seasons, some snow in winter but usually it is a mild climate. I love the mountains. Today is the first day of our class and I am very excited about it.
