Our family pet is a lovely little Cavoodle called Toby. He loves each of our family of five and is happiest when he is sitting near one of us. Each family member has their own unique relationship with him. He seems emotionally intelligent.
Except when we go for walks up the hill behind our house. The hill is home to a few troups of kangaroos. Some of them would be over 1.5 meters (6 foot) and are very strong. Toby can't resist chasing them. God willing he will continue to be smart enough to keep out of their way. Kangaroos are very peaceful animals except when threatened. I suspect they don't really find Toby a threat.
