Enlightened spiritual beings who once lived on earth, fulfilled their reason for being and have ascended, or reunited, with God. The ascended masters are the true teachers of mankind. They direct the spiritual evolution of all devotees of God and guide them back to their Source. They come from every era, culture and religion, and they are united in what is called the "Great White Brotherhood." The term "white" has nothing to do with race but instead refers to the tremendous white light (halo) surrounding their forms.

First Ray of the Will of God. It's qualities are perfection, protection, faith, desire to do the will of God through the power of the Father.

(Sanskrit, "wheel, disc, circle.") Center of light anchored in the etheric body and governing the flow of energy to the four lower bodies of man. There are seven major chakras corresponding to the seven rays, five minor chakras corresponding to the five secret rays, and a total of 144 light centers in the body of man.

The consciousness or awareness of the self in and as the Christ; the attainment of a level of consciousness commensurate with that which was realized by Jesus the Christ; the attainment of the balanced action of power, wisdom and love—of Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and the purity of the Mother through the balanced threefold flame within the heart.

The Higher Self or Real Self; our inner teacher, guardian, friend and advocate before God; the Universal Christ individualized for each of us.

Church Universal and Triumphant^® is a formal church with sacred rituals and inner temple teachings.  It was founded in 1975 by Elizabeth Clare Prophet when the Board of Directors for The Summit Lighthouse incorporated the church to meet the religious needs of an expanding body of spiritual seekers. The ascended masters Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha are sponsors.

1) An Ascended Master who has attained cosmic consciousness and ensouls the light/energy/consciousness of many worlds and systems of worlds across the galaxies to the Sun behind the Great Central Sun; or 2) A being of God who has never descended below the level of the Christ, has never taken physical embodiment, and has never made human karma.

The science of charting the cycles of the soul's karma and initiations on the twelve lines of the clock under the twelve hierarchies of the Great Central Sun. Taught by Mother Mary to Mark and Elizabeth Prophet for sons and daughters of God returning to the Law of the One and their point of origin beyond the worlds of form and lesser causation.

The law that governs mathematically, yet with the spontaneity of mercy’s flame, all manifestation throughout the cosmos in the planes of Spirit and Matter. The law of karma is a cosmic law. As you sow, so shall you reap.

One of the seven major chakras located at the crown. It is yellow in color and denotes God's wisdom.

A concentration of the sacred fires of the will of God which coalesce as a diamond matrix in the hearts of the devotees of God's will. A term used to describe the heart of the ascended masters, angel devas, and chelas who embody the will of God.

A duplicate of the I AM Presence of an Ascended Master.

Is a pioneer of modern spirituality. She has written such classics of spiritual literature as The Lost Years of Jesus, The Lost Teachings of Jesus, Forbidden Mysteries of Enoch, The Human Aura, Saint Germain on Alchemy and Fallen Angels and the Origins of Evil. Mrs. Prophet is also a messenger for the Ascended Masters.

The Asended Lady Master who holds the God consciousness of liberty for the earth. The Goddess of Liberty (so named for her complete and whole-hearted identification with God's flame of liberty, her God consciousness of liberty) is the Spokesman for the Karmic Board and represents the Second Ray (Yellow Ray) on the board.  While embodied on Atlantis, she erected the Temple of the Sun where Manhattan Island now is. With the sinking of Atlantis the physical temple was destroyed, but the etheric counterpart remains on the etheric plane, where she continues to focus the flame of liberty.

A cosmic being known also as Theosophia, who served in the Temple of Illumination on Atlantis. She is a being of great attainment in focusing the feminine aspect of the wisdom ray.  She served in the Temple of Illumination on Atlantis and later  embodied as Mary of Bethany, the sister of Martha and Lazarus during the time of Jesus. In her final embodiment as Mary Baker Eddy (1821–1910), she was commissioned by Jesus the Christ, the ascended master Hilarion (the apostle Paul) and Mother mary to set forth certain revelations on the science of the immaculate concept, which she published in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings and lectures collected under the heading of Prose Works.

The Great Central Sun, also called the Great Hub, is the center of cosmos; the point of integration of the Spirit/Matter cosmos; the point of origin of the physical/spiritual creation; the nucleus, or white fire core, of the Cosmic Egg. (The God Star Sirius is the focus of the Great Central Sun in our sector of the galaxy.) The Sun behind the sun is the spiritual Cause behind the physical effect we see in our own physical sun and all other stars and star systems, seen and unseen, including the Great Central Sun.

A spiritual order of Western saints and Eastern adepts who have reunited with the Spirit of the living God and who comprise the heavenly hosts. They have transcended the cycles of karma and rebirth and ascended (accelerated) into that higher reality which is the eternal abode of the soul. The Ascended Masters of the Great White Brotherhood, united for the highest purposes of the brotherhood of man under the Fatherhood of God, have risen in every age from every culture and religion to inspire creative achievement in education, the arts and sciences, God-government and the abundant Life through the economies of the nations. The word "white" refers not to reace but to the aura (halo) of white light surrounding their forms. Jesus Christ revealed this heavenly order of the saints "robed in white" to his servant John in Revelation.

The point of the personality which embraces the human consciousness and all that it stands for as true selfhood; the anti-self, the synthetic image.

The I AM THAT I AM (Exod. 3:13–15); the individualized Presence of God focused for each individual soul. The God-idenity of the individual; the Divine Monad; the individual Source. The origin of the soul focused in the planes of Spirit just above the physical form; the personification of the God flame for the individual.

The pure concept or image of the soul held in the Mind of God; any pure thought held by one part of life for and on behalf of another part of life. The ability to hold the image of a perfect pattern to be precipitated, to see the vision of a project complete, to draw a mental picture, to retain it and to fill it with light and love and joy.

Karma is energy/consciousness in action; the law of cause and effect and retribution. Also called the law of the circle which decrees that whatever we do comes full circle to our doorstep for resolution.

A mantle is a cloak of light, a grid or a forcefield of light worn by one who is sponsored by the Great White Brotherhood or by an Ascended Master. Worn at inner levels, the mantle contains within it specific fohatic keys that are anchored in the wearer's four lower bodies. These keys are a formula or quality of light—hieroglyphs of the Spirit—cosmic computers in capsule form. They have also been described as geometric hieroglyphs or engrams that are encoded formulas of light. This mantle protects the messengers as well as assists them to fulfill their office.

Messenger of the ascended masters for this age; teacher, lecturer, writer; one of the founders of The Summit Lighthouse with El Morya.

The collective consciousness of humanity; the collective unconscious of the race; the lowest common enominator of mankind's collective awareness vibrating at the level of the astral plane. The mass mind is the collective, computerized, programmed mind of humanity.

A Messenger is one who goes before the angels bearing to the people of earth the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and, at the appointed time, the Everlasting Gospel. The Messengers of the Great White Brotherhood are anointed by the hierarchy as their apostles ("one sent on a mission"). They deliver through the dictations (prophecies) of the Ascended Masters the testimony and lost teachings of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit to the seed of Christ, the lost sheep of the house of Israel, and to every nation. A Messenger is trained by an Ascended Master to receive by various methods the words, concepts, teachings and messages of the Great White Brotherhood; one who delivers the law, the prophecies and dispensations of God for a people and an age.

A cosmic being from Venus whose devotion to the flame of victory for more than a hundred thousand years has given him the authority over that flame through vast reaches of cosmos.

When referring to Elizabeth Clare Prophet, a term of endearment used by the devotees of Mrs. Prophet because of her great devotion to the Mother Flame.

An ascended master. Chohan of the Third Ray of divine love. He is hierarch of the Chateau de Liberte, his retreat is on the etheric plane over southern France on the Rhone River. Paul sponsors the ascended master culture for this age and works with all who desire to bring that culture forthon on behalf of mankind. The culture of the ascended masters is the keystone in the pyramid of the golden age; for they have said that it is through culture that mankind will respond to spiritual truths and the teachings of the ascended masters.

Third ray of the Love of God. It's qualities are compassion, charity, desire to be God in action through the love of the Holy Spirit. It relates to the heart chakra.

The Christ Self; the I AM Presence; immortal Spirit that is the animating principle of all manifestation.

The rebirth of a soul in a new human body. The soul continues to returen to the physical plane in a new body temple until she balances her karma, attains self-mastery, overcomes the cycles of time and space, and finally reunites with the I AM Presence through the ritual of the ascension.

The Ascended Master. Chohan (Lord) of the Seventh Ray of Freedom, Hierarch of the Aquarian Age, sponsor of the United States of America; initiator of souls in the science and ritual of alchemy and transmutation through the violet flame by the power of the spoken Word, meditation and visualization. His retreat in North America is the Cave of Symbols at Table Mountain, Wyoming. He also uses the Royal Teton Retreat at the Grand Teton, Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The Light emanations of the Godhead; the seven rays of the white Light that emerges through the prism of the Christ consciousness.

The soul is the living potential of God, projected from the I AM Presence into physical manifestation. The soul is not immortal but can attain immortality through fusion with the Holy Christ Self and the I AM Presence in the ritual of the ascension. Since the soul is the feminine counterpart of the Spirit (the masculine polarity) we refer to it as "she" regardless of whether it concerns the soul of a man or a woman.

An outer organization of the Great White Brotherhood founded by Mark L. Prophet in 1958 in Washington, D.C., under the direction of the Ascended Master El Morya, Chief of the Darjeeling Council, for the purpose of publishing and disseminating the Teachings of the Ascended Masters^®.

The divine spark. The flame of the Christ that is the spark of life anchored in the heart chakra, or heart center, of the sons and daughters of God and the children of God. The sacred trinity of power, wisdom and love that is the manifestation of the sacred fire.

Second Ray of the Wisdom of God. The qualities of this ray are understanding, illumination, desire to know God through the mind of the Son. It is related to the crown chakra.
