Sacramento is the state capital (throat chakra) of California
and the oldest incorporated city in California. It is the 6th largest
city in California with a population estimated at 521,769. Planned and founded
by John Sutter Jr. in 1849, the city was named after the Sacramento River. The Sacramento
River, and the Sacramento Valley where Sacramento is located, were named after
the Roman Catholic Eucharist by Spanish explorer Gabriel Moraga. |
